Mukha Abhyanga is the most natural way to tone, sculpt, and lift your face and neck. Mukh-abhyanga focuses on the "Marmas" or vital energy points on face and neck & each point is responsible for a specific functioning of the body. These pressure points are activated, drained off toxins & finally massaged with blended herb bags as per the Ayurveda recipes. Mukh-Abhyanga thus involves mainly 3 steps as under: 1. Marma-Chikitsa, (prana/vital energy points therapy): According to Ayurveda, there are 108 Marma points which are spread all over the body, of which 37 of them are there on head, face and neck. This therapy is designed to stimulate these 37 Marma points, through massage, acupressure & application of essential oils and herbs. This results in relieving mental stress, worries & anxieties and enhances your natural facial glow. 2. The Kansa Vatki (Bronze Wand) Lymphatic Massage: This is done by a healing wand which has a spherical bronze metal top. Massaging your facial muscles with Kansa Vatki targets the lymphatic drainage system, which clearly outlines all the toxins and fluids. Its a great tool to balance three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) to support vitality, promote health, and give you great looking skin. 3. NavaraKizhi/ Potli (Herbal Bag) Massage: It has a great effect in healing chapped and blemished skin by removing the outermost dead cell layer. The paste made with concoction of herbs, packed in a Potli (herbal bag) is used for massaging the face, which softens the ageing skin and repairs it by adding nutrients that increase skin elasticity and improves overall health of face. Benefits: ° Nourishes skin deeply, to maintain skin's elasticity ° Tightens the facial muscles and prevents sagging ° Improves blood circulation, drains out toxins (lymphatic drainage) & thus provides a natural glow to the skin Note: This facial therapy is not suitable for Acne prone skin
